1X Chainring

Write a Review
A 1X chainring replaces the traditional two chainrings on the crankset, with one single chainring. Our 1X chainrings are made in partnership with cSixx and are engineered to be aero and stiff, while offering excellent chain retention and smooth running in the maximum number of gears.

Our 1X chainrings have been in development for two years, while trying to find the perfect manufacturing partner to take this product to market. In partnering with cSixx, we have found a group of passionate engineers and designers, already manufacturing a heavily refined and field-proven product. Our range of 1X chainrings uses our own ideas, alongside the tooth technology and manufacturing techniques of cSixx, to produce what we believe is the most refined and highest performing 1X chainring solution for time trial application.

Our focus with 1X chainrings has been to optimise the chainring offset and tooth profile, to deliver the maximum usage of smooth-running gears, improve chain line and enhance the interaction of chain and chainring. The end package is a smoother, more versatile, more robust and more secure than any other 1X solution we have tested.

Available in the race-specific sizes from 54 to 62t, our 1X solutions are applicable to race situations that require high-speed, over terrain that does not require a change into the small chainring. We didn’t stop at just the chainring, because we know that the package that delivers the best performance considers the chain, pulley wheels and of course, the chain guide for additional security.

Sync Driveline

Our Driveline has been in development for two-years, in search for the right manufacturing partners and awaiting the demand. Our partnerships with cSixx has been pivotal in bringing this product to market, a company with the passion for developing and manufacturing premium products, for the highest level of competition.

The journey started with understanding what goes into the best 1X performance, from chain line, to the applicable chainring sizes and understanding the risks that go with the performance gains. Throughout this process we have seen endless system failures with other solutions and we know that at the top-level of competition, athletes and teams cannot accept under-development.

With our Sync Driveline, we are confident in the system’s performance and the application in modern-day UCI and Triathlon competition, when course demands indicate 1X application. While the gains are certainly marginal, when executed in a high-performance system our 1X system is a highly-developed solution that delivers another step in the evolution of time trial performance.
