Sync represents innovation and a scientific approach to position optimisation and the achievement of your best cycling performance.
Our engineered solutions are the cumulation of our knowledge of position optimisation and an understanding of the equipment required to deliver meaningful results.
Our products come from extensive experience at Adaptive HP in the delivery of position optimisation (bike fit) services. The development of Sync Ergonomics centres around engineering equipment that produces the most effective cycling positions, for amateur and professional athletes alike.
The ideas that have cumulated in the creation of Sync Ergonomics started in 2015, with the build-up to an Hour Record attempt and the question of how to properly support the use of a high-hands position.
Throughout 2016/2017 we started testing with the first true prototypes of our modern aerobar solutions. This testing validated the concept and showed that a system-wide approach was required to maximise gains. In 2018 we released our first wedge solution. Limited by supply and compatibility issues, the decision was made to launch the complete range of products, without limitation to fit or function.
Released late 2018 and for the first time, provided athletes the complete package (ecosystem) of bolt-on components, to achieve a true high hands time trial position.
The success of the Aerobar One has no doubt contributed to the normalisation of the high hands time trial position, as the most successful strategy for improving comfort and performance.
With ongoing rolling updates, Aerobar One remains as a staple entry point to time trial position optimisation.
Twelve months on and Aerobar Two was released (late 2019), pushing the limits of position optimisation through exploitation of the high hands time trial position.
With dedicated angulation, support for high-level position optimisation and compatibility with a host of modern time trial and triathlon bikes, Aerobar Two is a performance-oriented cockpit solution that delivers results.
We are now in our third generation of Aerobar Two solutions and are constantly expanding our fit and setup options for this ecosystem.
The Sync brand is synonymous with maximising performance on the iconic Giant Trinity. The switch to Giant for the 2022 season saw an opportunity to work with GreenEdge Cycling, in the delivery of performance-oriented cockpit solutions for their Trinity Advanced Pro TT bikes.
For the 2022 season the team used our Aerobar Two solutions and selected riders use custom made 3D Printed Titanium aerobars, allowing their GC riders and time trial specialists optimum performance in race situations.
The release of the CADEX Tri Frameset in 2022 demonstrates our experience with position optimisation and our dedication to providing class-leading ergonomic cockpit solutions.
The CADEX Tri frameset is a no-holds-barred triathlon machine, engineered and developed to deliver a more personalized fit, race-ready integration, superior real-world aerodynamic performance, and maximum efficiency.
Aerobar Three was born out of the 3D Printed Titanium aerobar project. We were able to combine our knowledge of position optimisation with the geometry of our custom aerobar solutions, to develop an off-the-shelf, semi-customisable, high-performance aerobar solution.
Thanks to the ease of application in the UCI regulated environment, Aerobar Three was used to great success by UAE Team Emirates, GreenEdge Cycling and AUS Cycling in 2023.
For 2024, we have embarked on our most ambitious project yet, the production of a complete 3D Printed Titanium aerobar solution, developed from the basebar up, with outright aerodynamic performance in mind.
Aerobar Four goes beyond the ordinary, catering specifically to the elite athlete who desires a level of customisation that transcends the conventional. Developed through CFD investigation of how the aerobar assembly can be better designed to manipulate downstream flow.
