Chainring Backing Plate

Creating the best 1X chainring requires consideration for the whole driveline system. Our driveline gives due credit to chainring design, the chain, chain guide and pulley wheels. Consequently, the Sync Chainring Backing Plate was enigneered with the same philosophy.

Sync Driveline

Our Driveline has been in development for two-years, in search for the right manufacturing partners and awaiting the demand. Our partnerships with cSixx has been pivotal in bringing this product to market, a company with the passion for developing and manufacturing premium products, for the highest level of competition.

The journey started with understanding what goes into the best 1X performance, from chain line, to the applicable chainring sizes and understanding the risks that go with the performance gains. Throughout this process we have seen endless system failures with other solutions and we know that at the top-level of competition, athletes and teams cannot accept under-development.

With our Sync Driveline, we are confident in the system’s performance and the application in modern-day UCI and Triathlon competition, when course demands indicate 1X application. While the gains are certainly marginal, when executed in a high-performance system our 1X system is a highly-developed solution that delivers another step in the evolution of time trial performance.
